Zusammenfassung

Nebennierentumoren können sowohl im Rahmen von Routineuntersuchungen als auch bei uncharakteristischen Oberbauchbeschwerden zum Ausschluss von Leber-, Gallenwegs- oder Nierenerkrankungen (Aso u. Homma 1992; Herreraet al. 1991; Khafagi et al. 1991) als Zufallsbefund (Copeland 1983; Geelhoed u. Druy 1982) diagnostiziert werden. Solche Tumoren werden als „Inzidentalome“ bezeichnet. In einem Teil der Fälle werden Nebennierentumoren auch durch klinische Symptome manifestiert.
