Abstract
Various theses on development and biodiversity conservation in Bolivia were developed as a Call for Research and Action aimed at stimulating a critical and interdisciplinary discussion of the complex problems found in this field. The Call was distributed before and during the symposium documented in this book. In this article, the Call is juxtaposed with reactions and comments from the symposium’s participants and other persons and institutions from a variety of countries and disciplines.
Resumen
Sobre desarrollo y conservación de la biodiversidad en Bolivia se desarrollaron varias tesis como un Llamamiento a la investigación y la acción destinado a estimular una discusión critica e interdisciplinaria de los complejos problemas encontrados en este campo. El Llamamiento fue distribuido antes y durante el simposio documentado en este libro. En este artículo, el Llamamiento se yuxtapone a reacciones y comentarios de los participantes en el simposio y otras personas e instituciones de diversos paises y disciplinas.
