Abstract
The term ‘type-II superconductors’ was first introduced by Abrikosov in his classic paper [47] where he proposed a detailed phenomenological theory of these materials based on the GL theory and capable of explaining their magnetic properties. Later, with further development of the physics of superconductors, the theory received copious experimental verification.
