Zusammenfassung
Unter Urtikaria versteht man ein monomorphes Exanthem aus Urtikä (Quaddeln). Die deutsche Krankheitsbezeichnung Nesselsucht weist auf die typische Hautreaktion nach Kontakt mit der Brennessel (Urtica dioica) hin. Die einzelnen Effloreszenzen einer Urtikaria sind rasch rückbildungsfähig. Die Pathogenese von Urtikaria ist nicht einheitlich.
