Zusammenfassung
Dieser Beitrag knüpft an Reinhold Hedtkes Arbeiten zur Marktsoziologie an. Er behandelt einen spezifischen Typus von Märkten, nämlich transnationale Arbeitsmärkte, die bislang kaum empirisch untersucht und theoretisch fundiert wurden. In dem vorliegenden Aufsatz wird vorgeschlagen, zur Analyse dieses wichtigen Phänomens sich globalisierender Gesellschaften theoretische Kategorien der allgemeinen Marktsoziologie zu nutzen. Dazu wird eine entsprechende Forschungsheuristik entwickelt, die die empirische Erforschung konkreter transnationaler Arbeitsmärkte anleiten kann und die auch in einem forschungsorientierten sozialwissenschaftlichen Unterricht genutzt werden kann.
Abstract
This article is in line with Reinhold Hedtke’s work on the sociology of markets. It addresses a particular type of market, namely transnational labor markets. Hitherto, the latter have neither been empirically investigated nor systematically theorized. To analyze this increasingly important phenomenon, it is suggested that researchers draw upon theoretical categories developed in the sociology of markets. In addition, a research heuristic is developed that can serve to guide pertinent empirical studies. The heuristic can also be used in classes in the context of socio-economic education.
