Zusammenfassung
Die Digitalisierung zeigt in zahlreichen wirtschaftlichen und gesellschaftlichen Bereichen Wirkung. Prozesse verändern sich und neue Geschäftsmodelle entstehen. Auch das Sportbusiness ist hiervon betroffen. Auf Grundlage des Geschäftsmodellrasters von Schallmo wird der aktuelle Stand der Digitalisierung in den verschiedenen Dimensionen des Sportbusiness systematisch untersucht und somit eine Standortbestimmung zu Grad und Wirkung der Digitalisierung durchgeführt. Auf dieser Basis werden anschließend Prognosen und Hypothesen zur zukünftigen Entwicklung des Sportbusiness formuliert. Die Digitalisierungs-Agenda von Spitzenclubs und der beschleunigte Weg vom Sport- zum Medienbusiness werden aufgezeigt. Dabei spielt das in der Analysephase genutzte Geschäftsmodellraster wieder eine Rolle. Es wird deutlich, dass die darin adressierten Ressourcen und Fähigkeiten zur Abwicklung der Wertschöpfungsprozesse sowie die dazu erforderlichen Partner im Kontext der Digitalisierung neu verortet werden müssen.
