In Europa haben pflegende Partner ein geringeres Wohlbefinden (siehe Abbildung 4). Auf einer Skala von 0 bis 10 ist die Lebenszufriedenheit pflegender Partner im Durchschnitt um 0,75 Punkte niedriger als die nicht pflegender Partner. Die Einsamkeit pflegender Partner ist auf einer Skala von 3 bis 9 um 0,48 Punkte erhöht und die Anzahl depressiver Symptome ist bei maximal 12 anzugebenden Symptomen um 1,37 Symptome höher als die von nicht pflegenden Partnern.
