Abstract
Part III provided a comprehensive, theoretical picture of the institutional barriers which are suggested to hinder the translation of personalized medicine into clinical practice. The identification of the barriers was based on a literature analysis, and the identification of the incentives for the stakeholders in the PM ecosystem was based on a theoretical microeconomic analysis. Part III is of general, theoretical value and can be tested in the context of other countries.
