Zusammenfassung
Das Interesse dieses Beitrags zur Diskussion um Autobiographie, Genre und Medium wird von zwei Standpunkten umrissen. Zum einen wird Genre als immer mediengebunden und in diesem Sinne nie immateriell verstanden; zum anderen wird der Begriff der Subjektkonstitution im Begriff der Automedialität subsumiert. Die Trennung von Genre und Medium ist dann eine bloße der heuristischen Zweckmäßigkeit, und das Subjekt findet sich in Arten und Weisen der Verselbstung ebenfalls materialisiert und vor allem diversifiziert.
