Abstract
The Chinese employees in this study not only function as intermediaries. Since their work consists predominantly of communication and considering the latitude with which they pursue their work, they can also be regarded as knowledge workers. This chapter sheds light on the larger group of knowledge workers in China to which Chinese employees in this study belong.
