Dass Kapitel greift wichtige Merkmale der biologisch-psychologischen Tiefenstruktur des Menschen auf und belegt, dass Bindung, Geschlecht, Sexualität, Status, Aggression und prosoziales Verhalten evolutionär verankert sind. Besonders das einstmal notwendige Merkmal der Aggressivität gilt es heute unter Kontrolle zu halten.
