Abstract

The Dresden Study (Hanefeld et al., 1973), which was started by our group in 1971 and 1972, originally was designed to analyze:

  1. 1.

    The prevalence of coronary risk factors in a representative population group aged between 15 and 70 years, 2. the implications of these factors, and 3. dependence of specific variables on sex and age.
