Abstract
From scientific and health-care aspects, there is an urgent demand for methods allowing a representative characterization and objective (diagnostic/prognostic) assessment of the regulatory behaviour (system behaviour) of the human organism under simiilated environmental load. They are necessary for the clearing up of complex regiilation processes as well as of the pathogenesis of regvilatory diseases and for different goals of preventive medicine. Such methods have become feasible by modern computer technologies. Starting from these requirements, an automated psychophysiological system-analytic investigation procedure was developed, the theoretical and methodical bases and technical facilities of which have been described in more detail elsewhere /1/, /2/. Of the comprehensive possibilities opened up by this computerized method, here especially those of the differentiated analysis of regulation on various integration levels shall be treated and the insights thus to be gained.
