Abstract
Using new concepts for documentation of medical data based on free text processing raises the problem of achieving error free texts. KLAUKON (Klartexterfassung mit automatischer Textkontrolle) is designed to acquire and check free text data during clinical routine without additional effort. The system is independent of any host computer because it is implemented on a stand alone microprocessor system. It is independent of application and evaluation by use of parameter driven interfaces at both the user and the host computer side. The software consists of 5 modules. In this article the system is introduced briefly with a more detailed discussion of the interface to the evaluating system.
