Abstract
We will describe a technique for simultaneously measuring photoluminescence from two orthogonal polarizations with picosecond resolution. We will show that this will enable one to determine both the total decay kinetics and the polarization exchange kinetics. Examples are given for both spin relaxation dynamics in solids and depolarization in dyes.
