Zusammenfassung

Die bedeutsamste Indikation zur Diättherapie von Hyperlipidämien ist deren Rolle als Risikofaktor der Arteriosklerose, insbesondere der koronaren Herzkrankheit. Das wichtigsteKriterium für die Wirksamkeit einer lipidspiegelsenkenden Therapie ist demnach die Prophylaxe oder Therapie arterieller Durchblutungsstörungen auf arteriosklerotischer Basis, auf die abschließend eingegangen werden soll.
