Summary

An experimental study of an interaction between a turbulent boundary layer flow and a shock wave, using a monodimensional laser velocimeter, is presented. The upstream boundary layer is submitted to a compression on a 6 degrees inclined ramp, producing a shock wave. The results concern the evolution along the flow of: mean velocity, turbulence intensity, standard deviation, skewness and flatness factors. They provide detailed information on the level amplification, and their relaxation downstream of the shock, which differ according to the region of the initial boundary layer.
