Zusammenfassung

Die Ursache des HELLP-Syndroms und seine Überlappung mit der genuinen Gestose (Präklampsie) ist kontrovers. Eine Eingrenzung von Risikogruppen ist zudem ebenso problematisch wie die Abschätzung von Komplikationen im Verlauf der Erkrankung. Daher sollen nach strikter Definition eines HELLP-Syndroms als maternale Risikofaktoren Symptome, Laborverläufe und sonstige Befunde erfaßt und näher analysiert werden.
