Abstract

Dilated cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) spaces can be found by computed tomography (CT), sonography and magnetic resonance imaging. The pathogenesis of ventriculomegaly should be defined in each patient in order to select the best treatment method. Patients with hydrocephalus due to atrophy can not improve after a shunting procedure.
