Zusammenfassung

Der Begriff Indikation wird in der Medizin allgemein als zwingender Grund verstanden, ein bestimmtes diagnostisches und/oder therapeutisches Verfahren in einem bestimmten Krankheitsfall anzuwenden. In der Pharmakotherapie hat der Begriff Indikation eine erweiterte Bedeutung: Er meint hier Anwendungsgebiet für ein bestimmtes Pharmakon oder eine bestimmte Gruppe von Pharmaka.
