Abstract

The question of whether noise reduction changes the asymptotic behavior of DLA-type aggregates is tested. The models used are DLA with short range interactions and DLA with a nearest-neighbor dependent sticking probability. It is shown that in some cases noise reduction can change the asymptotic behavior of DLA-type aggregates.
