Zusammenfassung
Die Therapieverlaufskontrolle ist eine Routineaufgabe in der onkologischen Praxis und wird vorwiegend mit bildgebenden Verfahren durchgeführt. Der Kontrollparameter ist im allgemeinen die Tumorgröße. Die Größenreduktion des Tumors setzt im allgemeinen erst in einem Zeitraum von mehreren Tagen – meist Wochen – nach Beginn der Therapie ein.
