Kilohertz High Harmonic Generation in Hollow Core Fibers

Abstract

High harmonics generation in hollow-core glass fibers by a 40 fs Ti :Sa pulses at a KHz repetition rate is obtained with a high conversion efficiency (3×10−5 for the 13th harmonic i. e. ~ 1010 photons per shot). Hollow-core fibers reduce significantly the gas consumption.
