Zusammenfassung
Zur Analyse biomedizinischer Verlaufskurven werden Methoden der nicht-parametrischen Regression vorgeschlagen, insbesondere Kernschätzer und glättende Splines. Die grundlegenden Ideen und einige asymptotische Resultate für Kernschätzer werden beschrieben, angewandte Aspekte dieser Methoden werden diskutiert. Möglichkeiten zur praktisch wichtigen Wahl von Kernfunktionen und Bandbreiten werden untersucht. Zusätzlich betrachten wir die Konstruktion lokaler Konfidenzintervalle und die Besonderheiten bei der Analyse von Stichproben von Verlaufskurven, insbesondere die Schätzung einer „typischen longitudinalen“ Verlaufskurve. Anwendungsbeispiele, Hormonmessungen während der Pubertät und das Langzeitverhalten von Herzschrittmachern betreffend, illustrieren die Methoden .
