Abstract
The HLA antigen B37 was first described as ‘TY’ by Gelsthorpe and Doughty [1]. The original serum defining B37 (TY) has now been included in four Workshops as: 6w111; 7w380; 8w450 and 9w329. B37 has an antigen frequency in Caucasians of approximately 3%.
