Zusammenfassung

Um die täglich inhalierten Partikel aus dem Tracheobronchialsystem zu entfernen, bedarf es eines ausgeklügelten Klärmechanismus. Insbesondere die zunehmende Luftverschmutzung, aber auch die private Luftverschmutzung durch Zigarettenrauch, spielen eine immer größere Rolle. Um diese Substanzen zu eliminieren, existieren verschiedene Partikeltransportmechanismen (Tabelle 1).
