Abstract
The measurement of lead in air is generally agreed to possess only a limited value for detecting risk to the individual worker. The examination of biologic material — especially blood and urine — of the exposed persons has yielded more results. Particularly in the case of lead, numerous improvements in the possibilities of “biologic monitoring” have been successful in the past few years.
