Abstract
Biochemical tests have proven their value in assessing lead (Pb) exposure in man, but studies comparing the various parameters during and after exposure to different doses are still few. The activity of the free part of δ-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase (ALA-D) was determined to provide information about the manifestation of subclinical poisoning with anorganic lead. Additional well known parameters like hematologic, chemical, pathologic, anatomic, and histologic findings were investigated.
