Zusammenfassung

Das verruköse Karzinom (VK) ist ein seltener, niedrig-maligner Tumor, der erstmals 1948 von Ackerman beschrieben wurde [2]. Prinzipiell kann dieser Tumor auf jeder Schleimhautoberfläche auftreten, die bevorzugte Lokalisation in den zentralen Atemwegen ist die Glottis [11]. Laryngoskopisch imponiert das VK als warzenhafter, papillomatoser Tumor. Es wächst langsam, örtlich invasiv und metastasiert nur extrem seiten [6]. Die Häufigkeit des VKs wird mit 1–3.8% aller Larynxkarzinome angegeben [7,10].
