Abstract
The beneficial effects of the low power densities of laser radiation were detected some 30 years ago and it already have a vast literature in many languages and much research and clinical work continues in several countries. The stimulating effect of this treatment, also called biostimulation, is attributed to the acceleration of photobiological and photochemical processes and is utilised for speeding up healing.
