Zusammenfassung
Das Verhalten mobiler Teilnehmer hinsichtlich der Veränderung ihres Standortes wird immer durch eine mehr oder weniger stark ausgeprägte Determiniertheit gekennzeichnet sein. Ein mobiler Teilnehmer kann einige Standorte im Vergleich zu anderen besonders häufig oder bevorzugt zu einer bestimmten Zeit aufsuchen. Weiterhin lassen sich Abhängigkeiten in der Abfolge, mit der bestimmte Standorte frequentiert werden, feststellen. Ebenso existiert häufig eine stärkere Beziehung zu einer eingeschränkten Gruppe von Kommunikationspartnern. Zusammenfassend kann man von zeitlichen und räumlichen Abhängigkeiten sprechen. In diesem Beitrag wird eine alternative Methode zur Lokalisierung mobiler Teilnehmer bei hierarchischer Organisation des Lokalisierungssystems vorgestellt, die wiederkehrende Verhaltensweisen der Teilnehmer berücksichtigt. Sie wurde unter dem Gesichtspunkt entwickelt, die Ausdehnung der Hierarchie objektbezogen bzw. verhaltensabhängig zu erweitern oder einzuschränken, um so einen Kompromiß zwischen zentraler und verteilter Verwaltung zu erreichen, der im jeweiligen Fall die besten Ergebnisse liefert. Weiterhin werden die Ergebnisse einer simulativen Untersuchung der vorgestellten Methode präsentiert.
