  • Conference paper
Medical Informatics Europe ’90

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Medical Informatics ((LNMED,volume 40))

Abstract

This paper briefly reviews the issue of health and safety in a variety of aspects, assesses the limited attention paid to health and safety in systems analysis and design generally, and argues that designers of health care systems have a particular responsibility to address the health and safety issues.
