Zusammenfassung

Durch exfoliative Toxine (ET, syn. Exfoliatine, Epidermolysine) von Staphylococcus aureus hervorgerufene unterschiedliche Krankheitsbilder werden heute unter dem Begriff „Staphylococcal Scalded Skin Syndrome“ (SSSS) zusammengefaßt. Das SSSS beinhaltet derzeit fünf Krankheiten (Tabelle).
