Zusammenfassung

Ein sicheres diagnostisches Verfahren für die Voraussage des Operationserfolges bei Hypertoniepatienten mit Nierenarterienstenose steht bisher nicht zur Verfügung. Die unterschiedlichen Erfolgsquoten der operativen Behandlung lassen jedoch, unabhängig von der klinischen Auswahl und der operativen Technik eine deutliche Abhängigkeit von der präoperativ durchgeführten Funktionsdiagnostik erkennen. Seitengetrennten Nierenfunktionsprüfungen sowie Bestimmungen der Reninkonzentration im peripheren Venenblut und in den Nierenvenen muß hierbei der größte diagnostische Wert zugemessen werden.
