Der amerikanische Neurologe James Ramsay Hunt (1874–1937) beschrieb nicht nur die Dyssynergia cerebellaris myoclonica. Sein größtes Interesse galt dem Krankheitsbild, das hier vorgestellt werden soll (Tabelle 1).
