Abstract
Benchmarks are the standard method to evaluate, compare, and support the development of database systems. With the unification of transaction and analytical processing systems and the development of new database systems, benchmarking has to evolve as well. On the one hand, existing benchmarks have so far focused on either transaction or analytical processing because of the separation of the two domains.
