Zusammenfassung

Die psychischen Reaktionen auf den Tod einer nahestehenden Person können sich sowohl kulturell als auch individuell stark unterscheiden. Dies erschwert die Festlegung der komplizierten Trauer auf einheitliche diagnostische Kriterien. Insbesondere stellt sich die Frage, wie eine normale Trauerreaktion in Abgrenzung zu einem pathologischen Prozess verläuft.
