Wenn Kinder und Jugendliche körperlich chronisch krank sind

Zusammenfassung

Chronische Erkrankungen betreffen immer die gesamte Familie, und gerade die Eltern sind auf vielfältige Weise in die Behandlung der Kinder eingebunden. Der Einbezug der Eltern in die Therapie wird von vielen Fachgesellschaften explizit gefordert und in vielen Schulungsprogrammen vor allem für die Gruppe der Kinder umgesetzt. Am Beispiel eines Elterntrainings für adipöse Kinder und Jugendliche wird das konkrete Vorgehen verdeutlicht. Auch wenn noch viele Fragen ungeklärt sind, lässt sich doch die positive Wirkung des Einbezugs der Eltern festhalten.
