Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel geht es um die Rolle des Belohnungssystems beim Assoziationslernen. Dazu werden zunächst die wichtigsten Lerntheorien vorgestellt, und es wird die Bedeutung des Neurotransmitters Dopamin für belohnungsbezogene Lernprozesse erläutert. Anschließend werden aktuelle fMRT-Studien vorgestellt, welche neuronale Korrelate der Belohnungsverarbeitung und belohnungsbezogener Lernprozesse untersuchen. Zum Schluss wird auf die Bedeutung belohnungsbezogenen Lernens für psychische Erkrankungen eingegangen, und es werden aktuelle Forschungsergebnisse dargestellt.
