Abstract

From technological progress of the industry, using factor analysis, the author analyzes the influencing factors in technological progress of Beijing’s high-tech industry. The result indicates that the level of R&D investment, technological innovation capability and product innovation capability are major influencing factors in the technological progress of Beijing’s high-tech industry. Therefore, in order to improve and enhance the technological progress of Beijing’s high-tech industry, we should focus on improving science and technology investment, optimizing the industrial structure, accelerating the development of new technologies and new products, saving energy and reducing cost.
