Abstract

the technologies of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of machine tool have made great progress in and out of our country recently, which play an important role in serving the machine tools for their stable, long-term and safe running. With the advancement of the modern science and technology, the machine tools tend to be larger, faster as well as more roboticized and complicated which makes the technologies of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis more important. This paper presents an intelligent system that integrates condition monitoring, fault diagnosis and equipment maintenance, detailed describes the implementation mode and specific functions. And the information exchange technology of the system is a universal data communication standard with a modular structure. The main method and modular structure of universal data communication standard is presented in detail as well. The standard can raise the level of interoperability and portability of the devices and applications in the system markedly, promoting the validity, timeliness and accuracy of the system for its implementation, materializing the system integration design and share resource which is independent of platform and network.
