Abstract
Along with the rapid development of computer technique, the precision of on-line insulation monitoring system is requested to be higher. Using statistical theory, analgorithm of preprocessing the sampling data in power system on-line insulation monitoring is presented in this paper. The wavelet transformation process used to preprocess the sampling data in on-line insulation monitoring is analyzed. The results of two methods used to preprocess the practical sampling data are given. Their effect to decrease the impulse interferences, high-frequency interferences and gross errors due to sampling element is obvious. Based on the characteristic of two algorithm programs, the paper discusses their applicable condition.
