Abstract
Regional environmental risk zoning is an important measure of environmental risk management but a complex project. It will become easier and more convenient to make environmental risk zoning with the help of the decision support system (DSS). In this work, the Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used to analyze and design the DSS of environmental risk zoning, using use case diagrams to analyze the system requirements, package diagrams to design the framework of the system and activity diagrams to analyze the sub-systems. Finally, the DSS was built. The processes of the analysis and design of the DSS show that the UML is a convenient implement to analyze and design the DSS.
