Abstract
This paper comes up with a method of traveling wave signal noise reduction based on wavelet coefficients, after exploring the theory of wavelet noise reduction. Then it analyses a threshold value estimation method and puts forward an average estimation method by compromising algorithm between soft-threshold and hard-threshold. A large amount of emulator study indicates that the adoption of traveling wave signal noise reduction can increase the rate of signal and noise and the signal strangeness can be well maintained, providing a theoretical guide for achieving power line fault detection.
