Abstract
The history of otoplasty and the ear anatomy are discussed. The prominent ear is described as well as the goals of otoplasty. Surgical procedures are shown including the authors’ technique, creation of the antihelix, conchal correction, and protruding lobule correction. Possible complications are described.
