Abstract
Audio, video and multimedia applications are traffic type which is increasingly in current networks. Besides the convenience of mobile ad hoc networks consider the provision of quality of service (QoS) essential, that is why several projects have been undertaken to provide it. Among these projects for IEEE 802.11-based ad hoc networks the available bandwidth is one of the key criteria which have been treated. ABE is the last project that first estimate then reserve in second time the available bandwidth. But the mobility which is major criterion of wireless ad hoc networks is still not treated specifically either in ABE nor other previous projects. In this paper, we will unveil a new technique ABE-MM (Available Bandwidth Estimation with Mobility Management) which adopts the ABE method in the basic measurements, but treats the mobility problem in a specific way.
