Abstract

The calculation of channel transition earthwork volume is the basic work of channel design and construction. Traditional calculation is complicated and low precision. The study is based on the strong calculation function and user-friendly interface of MATLAB. Analyzing the traditional calculation and the principle, I recommend a calculation by using the interpolation of quadratic B-spline function and integral, which makes the calculation simpler, more accurate and for reference.
