Large-Scale CFD Data Compression for Building-Cube Method Using Wavelet Transform

Abstract

The goal of this work is to develop a data compression method for large-scale CFD result obtained by a Building-Cube method. A discrete wavelet transform, quantization and entropy coding are employed to compress flow field data.
