Abstract
Fuzzy-model-based control approach is a promising approach dealing with nonlinear systems. By taking advantage of the TS fuzzy model, which represents the dynamics of the nonlinear plant in a favourable form, the system analysis and controller synthesis can be facilitated. Flouring stability analysis results and LMI-based controller synthesis techniques for continuous-time FMB control systems have been achieved and briefly discussed in Chapter 2. In the previous chapters, the stabilization control problem that the system states are driven to the origin is considered. The tracking control problem is another one that has drawn a great deal of research interest in the control community. The objective of the tracking control problem is to drive the system states of the nonlinear plant to follow some pre-defined trajectories. Compared with the stabilization control problem, the tracking control problem is relatively difficult to be handled.
