Abstract

The article presents the assets of PKP PLK S.A. company as well as their infrastructural condition, which is undergoing decapitalisation. Current modernisation projects require feasibility studies. Those studies include issues related to modernisation, which in turn influence the efficiency of these projects. These issues have been discussed briefly. The problems of modernising low-traffic routes have also been presented.
